The campsite of Tournus is a three star campsite situated in the South of Burgundy, only a few minutes walk from the centre of the beautiful town of Tournus. Tournus is well known for the Romanesque abbey and for the large number of excellent restaurants.
The campsite is only a mile from the exit 27 of the A6 "Autoroute du Soleil" motorway, yet still has a very pleasant natural setting with a lovely view over the river Saône and the surrounding area.

The friendly campsite offers 90 easy accessible, large and grassy pitches, enjoyable for a stopover of short stay to explore the pretty town of Tournus and the very interesting surrounding area.
If you come for only one night, you will appreciate the campsites' easy access and privileged situation at only 1 mile from the Exit 27 of the A6 motorway. Many excellent restaurants are only a short stroll from the campsite, to make sure you do not need to cook after a long journey.
People who stay longer will discover that Tournus is a very good starting point to discover the South of Burgundy with its magnificent heritage. Besides the beautiful town of Tournus, many places of interest will show you the charm of this unknown part of Burgundy: the Rock of Solutré, Cluny, Brancion, Cormatin, the caves of Azé and Blanot, the vineyards of the Côte Chalonnaise and Mâconnais....

The Mâconnais is the most Southern part of Burgundy, stretching out from Tournus to the limits of the Beaujolais. This area is well known for the rolling hills and rocks (particularly the Roche de Solutré), chequered by vine yards and many authentic and charming villages.

Camping de Tournus will accept Camping Cheques during the season 2010. You will be able to pay with Camping Cheques from the 1rst APRIL until the 3rd JULY and from the 22nd of AUGUST until the 30th of SEPTEMBER 2010.
